Who is Peter Mann?

Peter Mann was just an engineer searching for a way to improve his asthmatic son's quality of life. In 2005, he founded Alen Corp and began his mission to provide non-invasive and natural alternatives to medication so that people could breathe easier. Peter Mann knew that the needs of the everyday consumer weren't being met by the current air purifier manufacturers crowding the marketplace. He revolutionized the air purifier market by offering a lifetime warranty, providing the best technology at affordable prices and launching a design innovation project in 2006. This project resulted in an eco-friendly air purifier, with unique design features, superior performance and inexpensively priced. Alen Corp distributes its products in retail and online stores throughout the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong and China.

How is Alen Air Purification Different?

Alen Corp has a strong commitment to environment. All Alen air purifiers are RoHS certified lead free, Alen offers Energy Star rated models and all models are ozone safe. Alen is confident in the quality of their air purifiers and wants to keep their units out of landfills to help the environment, so each one is offered with a lifetime warranty. Alen Corp also provides multi filtration technology on its purification models. The four filtration technologies are:

True HEPA Filtration: At least 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger are removed by a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter. This includes contaminants such as mold spores, bacteria, viruses, dust, pet dander and pollen. Alen air purifiers test at over 1,000% better than the leading ionic purifier and up to 50% better than the leading HEPA type air purifiers by the world's leading independent test lab.

UV Light: What are bacteria exactly? Single cell microorganisms, about 0.2 to 5 microns in diameter, that exist everywhere. Most of the time they do not cause problems, but when they do, it's pretty serious. Staph infections, pneumonia, and food poisoning are all caused by different kinds of bacteria. Over 96% of airborne bacteria are eliminated by Alen UV air purifiers.

Ionizer: All Alen air purifiers have negative ionizers because healthy environments have higher levels of negative ions. When HEPA filtration technology and negative ionizers are combined a small number of negative ions is produced. Alen air purifiers are ozone safe as well, which means they do not contribute unsafe levels of ozone. The side effects of unhealthy amounts of ozone can be worse than the benefits.

Photo-Catalytic Oxidation: The Alen A375UV air purifier uses UV-PCO (UV Photo-Catalytic Oxidation) so that the level of VOCs is reduced. Common sources of VOCs indoors include paint, carpeting, copiers/printers, laminated furniture, wood preservatives, paint thinner, glues, permanent markers, cosmetics and certain aerosols and plastics.

A350: The most popular Alen air purifier is the A350, and for good reason. It can purify the air in rooms up to 800 square feet but it also slim enough to fit easily behind a chair or couch. A375UV: Need an air purifier that does it all? Look no further than the Alen A375UV Multi Gas HEPA air purifier. It features HEPA filtration, two ultraviolet lights, an ozone-safe ionizer, an activated carbon filter and photo-catalytic oxidation.

T100: Compact and portable, the Alen T100 HEPA air purifier includes a HEPA air filter, an activated carbon filter and an ozone-safe ionizer in one petite package. T300: In a unique tower design, the Alen T300 HEPA air purifier offers HEPA air filtration, an ozone-safe ionizer, an ultraviolet light and an activated carbon filter. Unlike ionic air purifiers, which feature a similar tower design, the T300 does not use ozone and has tested 1,000% better than an ionic air purifier.
