About NQ Air Purifiers
About NQ Industries Air PurifiersNQ Industries Inc., one of the leading manufacturers of products that deal with indoor air quality (IAQ) issues, was founded to develop and market products that address air purification needs in 1993. They feature product lines that are targeted to medical health facilities, industrial air cleaning and military as well as a product line designed for commercial buildings and residential settings that combines the significant parts of the medical, industrial and military equipments. NQ air purifiers are usually installed in a standalone configuration and are high efficiency air filtration and sterilization devices. Where Specifically Are NQ Industries Air Cleaners Used?NQ Industries understands that different environments such as residential, commercial, medical, industrial and military buildings have their own specific needs and requirements. Residential Environments: NQ air purifiers can deal with contaminants common to homes such as odors, VOCs, bacteria, fungi and chemical agents. Commercial Environments: NQ Industries has designed products specifically for commercial environments including smoking rooms, offices, stocking areas, waiting rooms, schools, homeless shelters, building works, libraries, postal sorting rooms, recreation centers, microbial remediation processes, hotels, restaurants, bars, cruise lines, police/customs, prisons and airports. Medical Environments: The medical applications that NQ Industries has developed air cleaners for include general practitioners, specialists, dental practices, laboratories, hospitals and clinics patient rooms, out patients, veterinarian practices, nursing homes, OBGYN wards, microbial laboratories, positive and negative pressure isolation wards, clean rooms and engineering areas. Industrial Environments: These environments include micro-mechanical, electronic, pharmacy and food processing industries, stocking areas, waste sorting plants and office buildings. Military Environments: The products designed for these environments are made to be used aboard Navy ships in berthing spaces, critical isolation wards, surgeries and push pack deployment. They are also made for land based Navy environments including naval hospitals. For the Army they can also be used in land based hospitals and for emergency deployment systems, field medical care, isolation and surgery. For the Air Force they can be used for air patient transport. What Purification Technologies Do NQ Industries Air Cleaners Use?NQ air purifiers utilize well-recognized purification technologies that deliver the best solutions for your needs and are proven to be efficient such as UVGI, HEPA filtration, activated carbon filtration and UVPCO. Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI): This purification technology has an intense germicidal effect. It destroys micro-organisms like virus, bacteria, fungi and yeasts in seconds without using chemicals. UVGI inhibits a micro-organism's ability to replicate by alerting the pathogen's DNA. High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filtration: This technology was first used in gas masks by the German Army in early 1940. Presently, HEPA filters are composed of fine glass impregnated cellulose fibers and are 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger. Activated Carbon Filtration: HEPA filters do not have the ability to remove gases and odors from the air, so that is when activated carbon filtration steps in. A combination of adsorption and oxidation eliminates gases and odors without generating ozone. Ultraviolet Photo-catalytic Oxidation (UVPCO): This technology is used to remove organic contaminants in gas form that are present in the air. It is applied to buildings to reduce concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) as well as a broad panel of airborne pollutants. The NQ Industries NQ Clarifier Air CleanerThe NQ Industries Clarifier air cleaner can be used for a variety of applications including residential, commercial, medical, industrial or military. It features 4 levels of filtration: a pre-filter for particles larger than 10 microns, a HEPA filter, an activated carbon filter and a post-filter. It also features an ultraviolet purification zone that eliminates bacteria, viruses, fungi, allergens and molds. |
