Air Purifier Review - Airgle BY750

Air purifiers are designed to provide relief for those who suffer from allergies, asthma, respiratory conditions, or those who just want to improve their health by breathing in cleaner air. Because air purification is a billion dollar industry, customers have many choices when it comes to air purifiers. The AHAM, or the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers, is a U.S. based trade association of the home appliance manufacturing industry who members include the manufacturers of "major," "portable," and "floor care" home appliances. This association also tests air purifiers using a rating system based on three figures: tobacco smoke, pollen, or dust. If the CADR for any of these three categories is high, this means the air purifier is capable of removing this particular contaminant from the air very rapidly.

Out of 159 air purifiers tested by the AHAM, the Airgle BY750 air purifier received the highest CADR rating with the following scores:

Dust CADR > 400
Tobacco Smoke CADR > 450
Pollen CADR > 450

This air purifier is one of the most advanced home air purifiers available for home use. Ideal for spaces up to 2000 square feet, this air purifier uses a complete 12-stage filtration process with four permanent and washable pre-filters, 4 HEPA filters, 2 activated carbon filters, and two antimicrobial high airflow filters. An advanced programmable LCD control panel lets you adjust the time and speed, the filter indicator monitors usage and operating conditions to remind you when the filters need attention, and a light sensor switches the unit to silent mode when the room is dark (perfect for bedrooms and living rooms). In addition, the BY750's aromatherapy setting emits a pleasant aroma when needed. Lastly, Airgle states that the BY750 air purifier is completely free of ozone, a lung irritant that is often emitted from leading ionic air purifiers on the market today.

Keep in mind that manufacturers are not required to submit their air purifiers for CADR testing, and not every air purifier is on the AHAM's list. Nonetheless, CADR ratings do allow consumers to see how an air purifier is able to rid the air of particulates and pollutants, and overall, the BY750 by Airgle did beat the competition.
