The 6-Stage Filtration Process
Step 1: The high grade pre-filter will capture all the large particles such as pollen, hair, dust ... etc. The pre-filter also ensures a longer life for the HEPA filter.
Step 2: The active carbon behind the pre-filter absorbs and dissolves odor, unpleasant smells, or other toxic gases in the air, such as exhaust fumes from automobiles.
Step 3: The HEPA filter removes allergens, such as bacteria, moldy fungus spores, tobacco smoke, insecticide dust, dust mites, and particles larger than 0.3 microns (0.0003 mm)
Step 4: The 254nm germicidal UV Lamp is the most effective in eliminating bacteria, viruses, and mold spores, which may not be eliminated by HEPA filtration. Lab tests have demonstrated that 90% of bacteria and viruses are eliminated during the first pass!
Step 5: The Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) chamber provides 10,000 times the ultra-violet intensity of comparable sunlight, it will break chemical chain of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), and turn them into water and harmless gases. The Chamber eliminates the lingering odors or pollutants in the air.
Step 6: Negative ION filter completes the process by providing fresh, relaxing air!

Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) air purifiers draw air into the photo catalytic chamber to be purified. The photo catalytic chamber consists of a high intensity UV-C ultraviolet bulb (254nm) and a Titanium Dioxide catalyst. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the photocatalyst becomes highly reactive and attacks the chemical bonds of the bio-aerosol pollutants, therefore converting the toxic compounds into benign constituents, carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).

Laboratory tests have proven Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) to be highly effective for airborne biological and chemical decontamination. This PCO process has been proven to be 206% more powerful than chlorine and 157% more powerful than hydrogen peroxide. The energy field in the photo-catalytic chamber is roughly 10,000 times more powerful than natural sunlight.
