1. Germicidal Lamp
The air first sweeps past the
germicidal ultraviolet light after entering the air inlet. The
UV light is lethal against harmful, airborne micro-organisms
such as germs, viruses, bacteria and fungi (such as mycotoxins
from mold).

2. Collects Particles and Pollutants
Airborne
particles and pollutants are magnetically attracted to the metal
dust collection plates like a magnet. The built-in fan, along
with the electronic breeze, draw pollutants through the unit and
its magnetically-charged plates. Then, you simply wipe the
plates clean periodically, removing them from the environment.
When the metal dust collection plates become full of particulate
and residue, simply wipe them off with a damp cloth. Then, dry
the plates and reinsert. It's that easy. The amount of

Test Description:
Smoke particles of various microscopic sizes were pumped into the
air-tight chamber in equal concentrations in both tests (Test A without
the XJ-2100UV air purifier, and Test B with the XJ-2100UV in operation
in the chamber). In Test A, without the air purifier, the particle
levels did not decrease over the course of 7+ hours. With the same
amount of smoke particles pumped into the chamber in Test B (with the
XJ-2100UV air purifier in operation), the concentration was brought down
by more than 99.5% over the same period of time. Unlike the reduction
rates quoted by most air purifiers, the measurements in this test were
taken throughout the chamber and outside the XJ-2100UV air purifier,
making these results even more impressive. In other words, these test
results are an indication of how effectively the XJ-2100UV will remove
airborne particulate throughout the room, and not just from the air that
passes through the unit.
