The Intelli-Pro is designed for areas up to 650 square feet, and air initially
enters the pre-filter, where the largest particles are trapped. The washable
dust collector plates do not require replacement, and they trap particles and
pollutants like a magnet. The activated carbon filter then absorbs chemicals,
gases, and odors with its highly absorbent granules. The long-lasting,
high-efficiency HEPA filter then captures dust, allergens, and other solid
particles, and the photocatalytic oxidation (Ti02) filter oxidizes chemical
molecules, bacteria, and odor-causing compounds. The UV lamp then helps destroy
the DNA of microorganisms, and as a last step, the ionizer circulates trillions
of negative ions to neutralize any remaining floating pollutants.
The Intelli-Pro also utilizes Advanced Sensor Technology. The Odor, Dust,
and allergen sensors know which airborne pollutants are present, and the Clean
Air Monitor senses how clean or polluted the air really is. The Ion/UV Light
Indicator verifies proper operation of the ionizer and UV lamp, and Automatic
Mode allows you to save money on your electric bill by automatically adjusting
the air purifier's settings. Additionally, in toxin tests, the Surround Air
Intelli-Pro Air Purifier outperformed Consumer Report's Top-Rated Air
Purifier.
